It’s almost here! What to expect from All Points East 2022
All Points East is almost HERE, and we cannot wait! All Points East is our favourite UK festival, just a stone’s throw away from us at Kip and located in East London’s finest park, Victoria Park, and always with an incredible lineup of acts. Here’s what you can expect from All Points East 2022…
Who we think you should be seeing…
Kickstart with the best of the best, Gorillaz…Friday 19th of August, it’s going to be ICONIC!! Then let’s move to the 20th where Field Day takes over featuring Peggy Gou and The Chemical Brothers. Up next we’ve got Tame Impala on the 25th, followed by a BIIIG day on Saturday 27th August, you can expect to see the likes of Disclosure, James Blake, Mura Masa AND Joy Orbison! These are just a few, there are so many fantastic acts, and we definitely recommend checking out the BBC 6 music stage which will definitely feature some great up-and-coming artists.
What to wear?
Well, it is festival season…so anything bright, colourful, and whacky should naturally be your go to. You are going to be in Hackney, and we are renowned for our wardrobe, anything goes, so release your inner child, jump out of your comfort zone, and go BOLD! The only sensible decision you should be making is around your footwear, comfort and longevity is KEY.
Something to munch on…
Obviously you need to keep the energy levels up with all the movin’ and groovin’ you’re going to be doing, we’d be irresponsible if we didn’t encourage you to line your stomachs. At All Points East there will be an entire street food market, curated by Sourced Market. If you fancy some vegan junk food, Biffs Jack Shack has got you, for your Eastern flavoured bao buns it’s got to be Eat Chay, and of course you have got to try the dinosaur fries from Herbivorous! Your taste buds are in for a GREAT time, trust us…
If you fancy a kip…
Naturally you’re at a festival, so you’re not planning on doing much sleeping. However, if you’re not a local then you really should be staying local, because who wants to travel far after doing 40,000 steps at a festival? Where to kip? At Kip…obviously. A conveniently located hotel in Hackney – we’ve got a bunch of rooms depending on what you’re looking for, from Kip Cabins; which are ideal if you want something clean and cosy just for you, to the Penthouse; if you’re wanting some pre and post-festival luxury. We would LOVE to have you and celebrate All Points East together!
