Veganuary in February
We know that January is a time for resolutions, challenging yourself, doing the whole health and wellness thing, and believe us – we back that! One of the biggest January trends is Veganuary, aka being vegan for the whole month of January. We’re really into this, but why does the vegan life have to only be for January? We challenge you to keep exploring vegan food and lifestyle in February.

Grow
Located right along the canal in Hackney Wick, is Grow; a creative space, bar and kitchen, which serves predominantly plant based food. Brunch, lunch or dinner, Grow is always full of vibrant energy, creative individuals, and DELICIOUS food…and drinks, of course. On the weekend especially, the atmosphere along the canal is brilliant – even in the chillier months you can catch locals playing music, cycling, having drinks along the canal, and Grow has a great view of this. It’s the perfect place to really soak up and immerse yourself in the Hackney energy.
Love Shack
A cosy patch of vegan paradise, that makes you feel like you’re at a cafe in Bali…but instead it’s Bethnal Green, that’s just as good – right?! Beautiful breakfasts (lunches and dinners), comfy corners to curl up in and read a book (whilst sipping on a cacao), and live music, poetry competitions and jam sessions. Love Shack is just LOVEly… They also do great cocktails and always have up-and-coming DJs playing, so it’s a great spot for a night out as well!
Temple of Seitan
Temple of Seitan, Your typical chicken shop…but not typical at all because the chicken is vegan. Burgers, wings and of course tots (think Napoleon Dynamite), all chick’n and all waaayyy better than chicken. The Hackney location is perfect if you want to grab something quick and naughty, except you feel waayy less guilty than eating normal fast food, because at least you’re saving the planet!
