Your Hackney Christmas Weekend Spelled Out

This year may have been a wee bit dodgy but that does not mean that Christmas has to be! In fact, here at Kip, we believe this month should be even more festive than ever, which is why we’re giving you the most ideal Hackney Christmas weekend…

You’re welcome!

Victoria Park & Croissants

Start your weekend with a crisp morning walk, by morning we mean 11am…it’s your weekend after all! Victoria Park is one of East London’s iconic spots of greenery, but the real reason we love it so much is Pavilion bakery. Not only is it located next to the most stunning fountain, but the chocolate almond croissants will quite literally blow your very thick socks off!

Hackney Central Christmas Markets

(Bohemia Place, Hackney Central, E8 1DU.)

This Christmas is a little different, it’s been a little heartbreaking missing out on the usual influx of Xmas markets. However, Hackney never lets us down, Hackney Central Christmas Markets have stayed loyal, keeping up the festive spirit! Expect Christmassy street food, with plenty of vegan options, and loads of ethical businesses selling lots of cute gifts…including the quirkiest baubles you’ll ever see!

Dates:

12th & 13th December

18th & 20th December

A Wholesome Meal @ DeBeauvoir Arms

(DeBeauvoir Arms, 113 Southgate Road, NI 3JS.)

No TV, No music, just good food & wine…that’s basically all we’re asking for at this point, right?

Located in the very cute DeBeauvoir town is one of the cosiest, most authentic pubs. The vibe is one of the best in East London, and you almost feel like you’re in a little countryside village! The menu is mostly Mediterranean, but if you’re looking for something a little more classic, of course you can tuck into a roast!

Luna Cinema

(Copthall Stadium, Greenlands Lane, Hendon, NW4 1RL.)

We love something cliche, and what could be more than a drive through cinema?!

Whether you’re on a first date, having some good quality family time, or fancy going it alone and enjoying some much needed time to yourself, it’s really the best way to watch a classic Christmas film! You can also order food and drink from the comfort of your car…but maybe just the one, we’d rather not encourage any drink driving!
