Our List Of January Events Happening Near East London
It is indeed January, and while it can be a bit of a miserable month with the whole “back to life, back to reality” thing going on, that doesn’t mean we can’t keep enjoying life and having some fun! This month there are some fantastic events taking place super near to us at Kip, and we want to give you the lowdown on what’s going on. SO, without further adieu, here’s our list of January events happening near East London…
ABBA Voyage
Every weekend in January and February has become a bit of a blessing for all the Abba superfans out there…why?! Because, the ABBA concert is here at the ABBA Arena, 40 years in the making! In an incredible arena, built especially for the concert, you can see this iconic group in the form of ‘digital avatars’, so it’s basically like seeing the icons themselves right there in front of you. The show has been described as ‘groundbreaking’ by Metro, and a concert that ‘needs to be seen to be believed’ by BBC. So, basically, you HAVE to go!

The O2 Arena
Of course the O2 arena is one of the BIGGEST venues in London for live events and concerts, and this month there’s A LOT going on (see, we told you January wasn’t boring!) Here’s the lowdown on what’s going on…

The Footie
Football is just a part of who we are in the UK, and lucky for us we’ve got a great selection of teams, and what’s even better for you ‘Coys’ and ‘Gunners’ is that Kip is located really near to both the Tottenham Hot Spurs and Arsenal stadiums…so if you’re coming over to London for a game or you live in London and are looking for somewhere close by to kip at after a few beers, then we’ve got you. Of course we can’t forget about the London Lions, who are playing a few times this month right near us at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Park!
Colour Factory
We are HUGE fans of Colour Factory in Hackney Wick, not just because we think Hackney Wick is one of the best places to party in London, but also because you get to see some INCREDIBLE talent there. There’s a bunch of great events happening at Colour Factory this month, every Monday night Orii Jam takes place featuring some fantastic musicians and artists, one of the biggest South Asian Djs, Yung Singh, will be playing on Saturday 21st of January, and the PXSSY Palace Presents Disco (which is iconic) is also on later this month! If you need cheering up this month, then get yourself down to Colour Factory, satisfaction is guaranteed…trust us.
