October Festivities in London
The summer nights are drawing in and although we don’t like to readily admit it, we’re starting to look forward to getting our knits out for Autumn. That said, just because the weather is starting to cool down, your social life doesn’t have to!
In anticipation of the darker evenings and cooler temperatures ahead, we’ve been looking forward to October in London. Here are a few local festivals that will satisfy your food, drink and music needs this next month…
London Cocktail Week
For just a tenner, you can grab yourself a £10 Festival Pass to what claims to be the “biggest cocktail celebration in the world”. Enjoy £6 cocktails in 300 bars, access to the exclusive pop-ups & parties across London town and entry into the Cocktail Village hub on Brick Lane with 40+ pop-up cocktail bars.

Festival of the Dead
Promising to be a “festival like no other”, the Festival of the Dead comes to Troxy Club on 19th Oct. With carnival-esque pageantry, giant skull processions, acrobats, dancers and beautiful decorative art & costumes, the evening promises to entertain.

London Oktoberfest 2019
Oktoberfest is the world’s largest Volksfest (beer festival & funfair). Starting in Munich, Germany, the 16- to 18-day folk festival runs from mid or late September to the first Sunday in October, with more than six million people from around the world attending an event every year. In London, Oktoberfest events are held around the city, but the “main event” can be found at Millwall Park, Olympia London and City Central at the HAC. General Admission will set you back £10 and includes admission and a seat at the event where you can sing along and dance on the benches while enjoying a bratwurst and a German beer – what more could you want?
E14 – 1 hr from Kip Hotel via Bus (277)
Like we said, just because winters on the way, doesn’t mean you have to start hibernating. London is still a melting pot of festival fun, so get ya winter wardrobe out and explore.
