Kips Guide To Pride Month In London
June is PRIDE MONTH in London, and it’s even more special because it marks 50 years since the country’s first ever Pride event! In true Kip style we want to offer our guide to Pride month in London…
Let’s kick start with The Queer Britain Museum in Kings Cross. The UK’s very first LGBTQ+ museum! At the museum you can uncover some incredible stories from the queer community, photography exhibits and plenty of events!
Keep it iconic at Dalston Superstore, THE very best LGBTQ+ bar in East London, and even better because it’s super close to us at Kip! Dalston Superstore is ALWAYS a good time and always iconic, with weekend drag brunches, dj sets with queer djs, and trasngender parties on a Wednesday. Even if you don’t consider yourself a member of the queer community, Dalston Superstore is welcoming to all and guranteed a good time!

Sing your heart out at Judy’s Jukebox Singalong at BFI Southbank. Of course Pride month in London means we have to celebrate with the gay icon, Judy Garland, and it’s even better than we could ever imagine because the singalong is taking place at the stunning British Film Institute (BFI.) The Jukebox sing along celebrates 100 years since her birth, and what’s even better is that after you’ve finished and your voice is (probably hoarse) you can take a walk alongside the river Thames and clear those tired lungs!
Get yourself over to the Queer Summer Fayre at Hackney Bridge, right alongside the canal! A day of workshops, performances, art, market stores and general great energy and colourful vibes. The fayre is all about connecting East London’s queer community with queer art makers!

Pride month is not something you ever want to miss in London, and of course Kip is a safe space for all members of the queer community, we cannot wait to welcome you with open arms!
