Happy International Friendship Day! It seems there’s a ‘day’ for everything these days, but we are TOTALLY here for celebrating friendship, we’ve got the ideal bedroom for you and your mates, the Kip Friends room, AND we’ve got some ideas up our sleeve on how you can celebrate you and your friends around Hackney!
First and foremost, we want you and your mates to have a sleepover with us at Kip, and we’ve got the ideal room, the Kip Friends room. Picture this…6 cosy, modern, and stylish bunk beds, in a monochrome Scandi style room, right in the heart of Hackney. We’d say this a pretty ideal set up for you and a bunch of friends to set up shop for a night or two, and enjoy a really great time in East London! OH, and did we mention there’s free barista style coffee?!

Plonk Golf
After you’ve checked in it would make sense to go and play mini golf…obviously. Plonk Golf is a short walk from us, and it’s a GOOD time, think retro, whacky decor, a bar and a mini old school arcade inside. If you’ve got friends with benefits, then it’s also a great spot for a date.
Victoria Park
The sun is SHINING in London right now, but did you know it shines brighter in East London?! Victoria Park to be specific. Victoria Park is the very best spot in East London to hang out when the weathers good, you can go rollerblading, sunbathe, chill in the rose gardens, and go on the pedal boats in the lake. We always recommend going on a Sunday where there’s a great food market, you can try a bunch of different cuisines, have a beer or aperol, buy some freshly baked cakes, AND flowers!
Pub On The Park
To bev or not to bev? Errmm, we’re celebrating our friends, obviously we MUST have a beverage. The options are pretty darn endless in Hackney, but we have to stay loyal to our all time favourite pub, Pub On The Park, which is also opposite Plonk Golf…aka, VERY convenient. Pub On The Park is quite literally on London Fields Park, it’s got a great space for outdoor drinks, and the vibes are immaculate and super friendly!
