Think quirky coffee shops, fresh flowers, delicious food and independent clothing shops that’ll keep your wardrobe looking super fresh and unique! Here’s our lowdown of our favourite shops and traders on Broadway Market…
On the weekend Broadway Market is one of the best places to be in East London, the whole street is taken up with a mix of food, jewellery, holistic remedies, and baked goods stalls. We know it’s cliche, but there’s really something for everyone and you’re probably going to want to try everything! We also absolutely LOVE the atmosphere of the market on the weekend, a true testament to the warm and energetic East London spirit!
If you’re craving a coffee fix then Climpson & Sons is a MUST, the coffee is super high quality and is roasted in a fully environmentally friendly environment. We recommend an oat milk flat white or the filter coffee, and if you’re feeling a little cheeky you can grab one of their takeaway espresso martinis.
She’s Lost Control…yup, we did not know what to expect from this store either! She’s lost Control is a conscious lifestyle brand that’ll leave you feeling totally zen and grounded. Expect sage, crystals and tarot card readings. They also do regular events, some of our favourites include full moon ceremonies and sound healing.
For dinner we recommend Okko for some sushi and sake, or Bella Vita if you’re more of an Aperol & pizza kind of person! There’s also lots of other spots to grab something quick to takeaway, London Fields park is literally next door, so you can take your falafel wrap and sit in the sunshine…when it actually decides to make an appearance!
The bookworms amongst us will also fall in love with Broadway Market, there’s quite a few indie bookshops which stock a super eclectic range of books. If we had to choose it’d be Artword bookshop, and yes you guessed it…it’s got a BIG collection of art books!
We’ve only scratched the surface with Broadway Market, but we can guarantee you will fall in love with it, AND it’s only 15 minutes walk from our hotel in East London, so you can come and get cosy with us after!
